In 1994 and 1995, Cuba Lake Marina and Carpie’s Grill became part of the landscape of Cuba Lake; thus filling entertainment and service needs left long ago by the demise of “The Pavilion”, “The Skye Loft”, “The Inlet Store” and the “The Dockside”. Through many decades, this property on the North Shore had been a general store, selling some groceries, seasonal items and gas.
In 1993, long abandoned by its last owner, it stood deteriorating – a ghost of its past. It was then that Chan Whitford and Erick and Marianne Laine bought the property with the intention of razing the old structure, opening a marina and, once again, providing a gas dock for boaters.
The rest as they say, is history. Cuba Lake Marina offers a full line of marine services, including Bentley Pontoon Boat sales and rentals, dock rentals, general boat maintenance, winterization, boat storage, boat detailing and a retail store.
Over the years, hundreds have gotten to know and love a little jewel in Western New York called Cuba Lake. Stop by Cuba Lake Marina, or Carpie’s Grill to see what all the fuss is about!
